Seventies Kitchen Remodel

The ’70s called… and asked for its ‘50 Shades of Brown’ galley kitchen back. Out with the outdated appliances and fake ventilation, in with upgrades which include pro-level ventilation, wine refrigerator, 6-burner + griddle gas range, double oven, side-by-side counter-depth refridgerator/freezer, lighting overhaul, new flooring and  beautifully customized pantry and cabinetry. This much-needed update also brought a relocated dining area and an expanded, way more functional layout. Now this kitchen is ready for serious cheffing and entertaining. Details below:

I kid you not when I say the previous ventilation was fake. How did that house pass inspection?! The new vent is Zephyr, the most powerful and quiet on the market- highly recommended. The window behind the range is new, bringing incredibly beautiful light to the entire space. Because of the window, I had to specify an island hood, finished on all sides. 

New hardwoods to match the existing ones beyond the open kitchen. Zephyr wine refrigerator with cool LED lighting options that can be changed. Side by side Frigidaire refrigerator and freezer. 

Photos do not do the Farrow and Ball paint color justice- it is stunning, and the additional pigment (more than US paints) allows the color to shift with the changes of light throughout the day.
