Kitchen Remodel, Before/After

From chaotic to cohesive—this kitchen was long overdue for a transformation. The ‘before’ was a collection of mismatched builder-grade choices that just didn’t belong together. The ‘after’ has purpose, flow, and a whole new vibe. Before/afters below:

So many details of this ‘before’ kitchen screamed afterthought. An egregious example or clue is the counter that continues below the upper cabinets in the above photo (the empty microwave opening exposes it), suggesting that those upper cabinets came later. This kitchen was built by a builder for himself…. in a nice neighborhood… Needless to say, there were surprises once the project started. 

The “after” cabinets are flush, soft close, with well planned organization for the owners who like to entertain. 

 

 

This spacious kitchen easily accesses an adjoining pantry, mud room, and wine bar/butlers pantry. Not shown in photo, steps away from the coffee bar is a cocktail bar in the living room.
