Let’s toast to the new year. If you are like me, you may find it challenging to come up with the perfect impromptu toast when occasion warrants one… so I have chosen a few from a wonderful book of Toasts to help ring in the New Year, an especially good book to have on hand if you plan to have the kind of year that will include reasons to celebrate!

I have two Courtney…hope you don’t mind 🙂
May we all work smarter, not harder.
…and…
May we all take the time to do nothing.
Thanks for the other ideas, Courtney! Happy New Year to you and yours. Thank you 2013, and welcome 2014!
Oooh, some toasts of wisdom… thank you for sharing, these are great- Cheers, Chris~
Your toast makes for a perfect resolution for the new year: build on 2013 to make the best of the 2013, the worst of 2014 – keep growing, keep improving and keep building on successes. Continue to raise the bar in everything one does. Happy New Year!
Yes, love that, wish I had a little champagne glass emoticon to raise to that. Cheers~
Collect “moments”, not things!!
oooh… this is excellent, as a toast and a resolution- Thanks for sharing Joann! Cheers~ (clink)
My Daddy’s favorite toast was
Good Health, Wealth and Happiness

Happy New Year to you and Bo and I
Hope to see You this year.

May your days be unguarded by a joyous, generous heart and your nights be secure in the peace of knowing that you loved!

This is really nice Courtney. May we (as a community) continue to inspire each other in the coming year!

“May friendship, like wine, Improve as time advances, and may we always have old wine, old friends, and young cares”.
This is from a book of my great great grandfather dated 1903 and called Up-To-Date TOASTS for all occasions compiled by E.C. Lewis.
That is fabulous, thanks for sharing, Rita!! May our paths cross again in 2014, too! Cheers~
“May we all feel happy and contented, healthy and strong, safe and protected and living with ease…”
