Holly Hunt has long been a defining force in the world of high-end design, known for her impeccable eye and relentless pursuit of quality. Her eponymous brand, synonymous with understated luxury, has redefined the standards of sophisticated interiors by blending clean lines, sumptuous materials, and a meticulous attention to detail. Beyond her own celebrated collections, Hunt’s influence extends through her curation of iconic designers and artists, fostering a platform where innovation and craftsmanship converge. In doing so, she has not only shaped the aesthetic language of contemporary design but also set a lasting benchmark for excellence in the industry. This week she was in town to
promote her beautiful new book, which was all the excuse we needed to go soak up the clean lines and good vibes of the Holly Hunt showroom.

One of the things I love most about the book are the testaments to legacy, written by people who have known or worked with her through the years, throughout the book:
“Holly is so candid and understated that many don’t realize the significance and genius of her achievements. Everyone sees the obvious: that she transformed the way showrooms look, made pricing transparent, pioneered collaborations, and simplified the buying process for textiles and hides. But she also changed the way showrooms service their clients.
Luxury interior design is about customization, and Holly created a gold standard for this process. She made sure her salespeople were highly trained and really understood how to help designers customize pieces to meet their clients’ needs. She has incredible integrity, which commits designers to her brand because high-end design is a very risky business. Custom pieces can easily cost thousands of dollars. When something came in faulty or flawed, she made it right. Her acumen about this process was what made our projects successful.”
