Do Hotels know we miss our dogs when traveling? I think so. Some of them cleverly place decorative dogs in the lobby to help us to immediately feel at home while being away.
This pair of decorative dogs flanks the entrance of the Crosby Street Hotel in Soho. You wouldn’t believe the magnetic power they have to draw people in, it is fun to watch.

This regal decorative dog resides in Deer Valley at what used to be the St Regis Hotel now Marriott, making guests feel comfortable and welcome. And by the way, dogs are welcome at this hotel. Lucky dogs…

These decorative dogs were in Lexington Gardens in NYC- a charming store who understands the warmth that animals add to design schemes… I doubt this pair is still there, they are fantastic.
