Dallas Kips Bay Show House 2024

The 2024 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas marked its fifth year with an extraordinary showcase of design innovation, featuring the work of 25 top designers from across the country. Set in a 25,000-square-foot French Renaissance-style mansion at 2999 Turtle Creek Boulevard—originally envisioned as Dallas’s first Mandarin Oriental hotel—the show house presented a rare opportunity for designers to transform a commercial space into a luxurious residential retreat. The event, which ran from October 25 to November 13, 2024, celebrated both creative ingenuity and a commitment to philanthropy.

Each designer brought a distinct perspective, seamlessly blending modern design with the building’s historic architecture. The imaginative transformations not only showcased the depth of design talent but also highlighted the adaptability and vision required to redefine the space.

Beyond its visual impact, the show house served a greater purpose—supporting the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, along with two local Dallas charities: Dwell with Dignity, which provides inspiring homes for families overcoming homelessness and poverty, and The Crystal Charity Ball, benefiting children’s charities in Dallas County. The 2024 Kips Bay Show House was more than a celebration of exceptional design—it was a testament to the power of collaboration, creativity, and community impact, leaving an indelible mark on Dallas’s cultural and philanthropic landscape.
