Lee Ledbetter- Updating New Orleans Style

Lee Ledbetter is my new architect/design hero. He is equally talented at both.

House and Garden selected Mr. Ledbetter as one of fifty “New Tastemakers” in recognition of his firm’s architectural and interior designs. Similarly, Metropolitan Home described him as “one of twenty outstanding talents in the design community”. He has appeared on both U.S. and Canadian television productions of HGTV… was used as the only Architect  example in Kerri McCaffety’s gorgeous book titled New Orleans, New Elegance – and so much more…

The above photo is from a story that ran on a historic greek Revival home in New Orleans. The owner loves black and white. See more of the amazing structural and design work that Lee did on the project here.

New Orleans style has always been unique and beautiful, but Lee Ledbetter is definitely updating it one house at a time. Let’s hope that Lee works out of state as well…
