Inspired By: Pamela Copeman

Pamela Copeman PaintingsToday I am Inspired by: Pamela Copeman. Pamela is a designer friend of mine who lives in Hingham Massachusetts. She is always on the go- designing, traveling to fun destinations, attending glamorous parties, blogging and… painting. It is one thing to call oneself an artist – and an entirely different thing to paint like Pamela does. She is a prolific painter, a colorist, and very whimsical about what she paints. For example, she goes to the Jason Wu fashion show and returns to paint a few fashion paintings, perfectly conveying the glamorous vibe and even the movement of the models down the runway. Pamela sees ranges and depths of color in a gifted way. Working through the details of a project, she might paint one of these gorgeous little room paintings. If you happened to see the viral “I love my bed” VINE video that Pamela created and starred in, or any of her radiant outfits, you will see that she lives in color.   PamelaCopemanVine

The good news is that Pamela’s charming paintings are soon to be for sale. She knows exactly which one I want! I suggest that you consider collecting a few before she is discovered by a major gallery. They are petite treasures, each measuring 6×6 inches. I would actually love to have every single one of them filling a wall. Take a look at her gallery and you might be racing me to get to her first!

This is Pamela at the Design Bloggers Conference in Los Angeles last month. Since I clearly do not enjoy painting as much as she does, I have decided to enjoy HER paintings! I think I might put my first one on my desk as a nudge to be elegantly creative…

  3. I love the lipstick. The way Pam translates how light reflects in the metal tube is masterful. Her talent is another reason she’s a #Fab7!

  6. Such a talented woman! I love your paintings Pamela and cards!! So happy to have some cards!!!

  7. Pamela Copeman is the most Fab person I know;) “Colorist” is the perfect way to describe her. Also, her ability to capture, and then accurately convey the “mood” of an event through one painting is absolutely uncanny. Working with her is the best!

Pam has a gift….to showcase the beauty is design. Her paintings are one-of-a-kind and a treasure. I have the honor of having a few originals in my home and everytime, as I pass by, I smile……

    • Gina, you are one of the lucky ones to actually own her art. A few of us have been working on her… we all want to buy one.

  9. Pamela is my favorite impressionist painter – her work is so feminine and beautiful. So talented!
