Scientific studies have proven that of all the senses, the sense of smell is most linked to emotion and memory. Think about it, I bet you can remember going into a home that had an elegant candle burning or a delicious dessert cooking, a boutique hotel’s exotic scent that transported you right into vacation mode, or perhaps a home that could’ve used a candle. When entertaining, it is important to remember that the smell of your home could make a long lasting impression on your guests-  Why, you ask? Because the part of the brain that controls the sense of smell is imbedded in the area that controls memory formation….
