The holiday season is upon us so today I am going to share a quick and easy recipe for a champagne cocktail. There is something memorable about being a guest who is greeted with a glass of champagne, or a champagne cocktail upon arrival to a party. It has a way of setting the tone for the light hearted buzzy fun that awaits.
Place a sugar cube* in a chilled champagne flute, lash it with 2 or 3 dashes of bitters (Angostura or Peychaud’s), fill the glass with brut champagne, and squeeze a lemon twist on top. -from Esquire Magazine
