I heart New York. The only thing better than going to New York is going for design inspiration. Earlier this week the Big Apple was host to ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) and Blogfest 2013, which included a tour of Kips Bay Show House. Inspiration trifecta! It was so fun to see designer/design blogger friends and meet new ones. Kravet did a spectacular job with Blogfest – everybody who attended had a wonderful time and learned a lot. I decided to share with you some of the faces of Blogfest and ICFF (the ones I happened to get solo shots of), obviously I couldn’t capture all faces, but these talented people will inspire you… so I am treating this like an informal blogroll. As you will find, they are more than just pretty faces: Continue reading

New Twist on Antlers in Decor
The western antler look isn’t for everyone. These inspiring finds open up endless possibilities for more creative and artistic ways to accessorize with antlers in decor. Very chic, making the statement of your choice depending on how you use them. Antlers in decor can now be modern, sculptural, glam, you name it. What do you think? Do you like? Do you want? Kitchen and Bath Trends 2013
The Modenus BlogTour Cologne trip was an incredible experience in so many ways. It was a privilege to see an international Furnishings & Kitchen and Bath show of the scale of IMM Living Kitchen because we were exposed to products designed for different cultures and spacial uses – also technologies that are way ahead of what we have in the US. Below is a photographic tour of Kitchen and Bath trends 2013: Continue reading

Classic Meets Contemporary- Room Study
This ad by Maxalto ( a B&B Italia brand) makes me swoon~To my eyes it presents perfection where Classic Meets Contemporary. While it looks casually designed, there is nothing done by chance here, it is a work of sophistication and carefully chosen details. The many paradoxical elements of color, texture, proportion, materials, architecture and design create visual genius. Do you love this room as much as I do?
