I have always had a fascination with interesting doors.  They are almost like gift wrap or a beautiful invitation, providing a preview of what you are likely to experience inside. The ones I am most drawn to are usually associated with high ceilings, must be my New Orleans upbringing.

Doors in Paris inspire me endlessly. I took loads of door photos as I walked through the streets when I was last there, it seemed that every door I saw was as gorgeous as the last. Good thing I was not in a hurry!
